"Copts of Egypt": Foreign Ministry refused to communicate with the families of the abductees

The coalition of the Copts of Egypt issued a statement to comment on the leaked news of murdering the 21 kidnapped Copts in Libya saying it emailed the United Nations, the Security Council, the World Organization for Peace, Care and Relief, the United Nations Human Rights Commission and other organizations and international bodies demanding their intervene in order to help the abductees and save their souls.The coalition of the Copts of Egypt issued a statement to comment on the leaked news of murdering the 21 kidnapped Copts in Libya saying it emailed the United Nations, the Security Council, the World Organization for Peace, Care and Relief, the United Nations Human Rights Commission and other organizations and international bodies demanding their intervene in order to help the abductees and save their souls.
 
Statement added that the Egyptian state has to protect the Egyptians abroad, but they only ignored them and even refused to meet with them.
 
This came after the Islamic State had announced the killing of 21 Egyptian Christians who were abducted from Libya early in January in “revenge for the Muslim women persecuted by Coptic crusaders in Egypt.” The reference was evidently to an incident in which two Egyptian women married to Copts were allegedly pressured to repudiate Islam.
