Mayor of Kafr Darwish apologized for all Coptic Christians after his agreement to expel 5 Coptic families from the village for a week and allowing them to return their homes by a customary reconciliation session, after accusing their son of contempt of Islam on his page on "Facebook". He assured that he didn’t mean to commit such mistake, and he always had good relationships with Muslims and Christians.
This came during the visit of the delegation of the Independent National Commission.
