National Security Police carried out security crackdown to arrest leaders of the terrorist group and escaped prisoners and wanted men in several cases.
The campaign led to the arrest of 51 leaders of the terrorist group who were accused in many crimes such as destruction of public and private institutions, and inciting hatred.
14 dangerous elements were also arrested on charges of targeting police and army elements and another 17 from extremist elements.
