Happy Feast - Eid Moubarak

The holly month of Ramadan the fasting month of Muslims has come to an end and feast is due celebrations includes all Egyptians regardless of their religions.

The good thing beside the joys of feasts is that the endless cues of soaps and serials had come to an end and I’m not a fun of those serials I like to watch a movie 1 or two hours and done I have no patience to follow or keep track of a serial, I.m not going to interrupt something I started to watch for a serial that will start elsewhere!
However, due the the huge amount of serials some of them popped up forcing me to watch them as I had no other option! I and I decided to hint about some of what I had noticed as general comments without names, majority of the stories are nothing more than thugs, drugs, police officers chasing criminals, or corrupted police officers, killing and more killing! Bottom line where is the morals from such stories? Just to attract the attention of people or a new way to teach more ways for corruptions?
However, within all this dark stories, there were some bright examples, bright examples taken -copy/paste- from real life giving a real warning, warning from a clear and present danger the danger of drugs! Let us be fair and clear about this issue; It is a well know illegal activity that exists not only in Egypt but the whole word; our government is offering free treatment to people fell under the influence of drugs, different reasons all fall under one wide heading: The Escape from what you are running away from!
One main reason unfortunately Doctors themselves are prescribing it to patients after surgeries to kill pain they think they are controlling matters but mistakes happen the patient that was under Doctors supervision for a second long enough to loose the sight the patient is no more under supervision and the pain is still there and this guy must kill that pain some way or another!
Another common reason for falling in this endless drugs path is a social aspect, that is too much supervision or equally too much confidence in the way you raised your children no one would become a drug addict but confessions proved that brother and sisters raised together some way one one fall in this path, reasons are different but results are similar the drug addict ends up in total bankruptcy he will loose every thing before loosing his own life but on the other hand some will try over and over again to give up but he keeps falling over and over again the first bill or drop of drugs put you in the line of patients you are no more a normal person like you used to be! You will no longer just fight your addiction to drugs, but as well fight the desire to fall again into that problem, the fight then will be way more difficult, you might even stop believing there is a way to stop or that if you stop you will never return again to fall down over and over again you are and remain forever an ex-drug addict you will never again be what you used to be before!
This is in fact what I try to focus on it! The government offers free treatment to drug addicts, but for this to work drug addicts need to recognise they do need help and be willing to help themselves as well! But this is not the end of it it is just the begging of a long endless path! Your recovery is never complete, like you fell first time you could fall again and again; the government spent time and money to cure you but they can not keep an eye on you they do have a long long cue awaiting for you to leave to take your place and receive some attention like you had! And again they will never be cured they remain forever an ex-drug addict and subject to fall over and over again, and each fall or set back achieve! This in fact makes any effort by the government in this issue to be seen as a waste of money, I do not have any real statistics about how many addicts the government helps out neither how many of them really were cured for ever and how many of the fell over and over again, but to illustrated the idea how the money spent by the government facing this issue could be seen as a waste of money I’ll invent some statistics and repeat numbers are not real could be worst or better but this is just an example to illustrate the idea; I’ll say 100 patients -or drug addicts- were adopted by the government with a total budget of 1/2 a million Egyptian Pounds that is 500,000 or the cost of each patient is 5,000 Egyptian Pounds; Now suppose that just 10% or exactly according to my numbers 10 of them returned again to drugs that is 10 x 5,000 = 50,000 Egyptian pounds were wasted! But I do not expect from the government to follow up on those 100 patients with additional expenses not to forget the other 100 patients in the cue to be taken care off!
What I try to say here is the simple saying:-
If you can not change what you do not like then change what you like and can change! I do not like the underground world of DRUGS, but I can not change it I know however that due to this there is a lot of thugs helping in drugs traffic thugs fighting police officers to get away with their cargo they kill our police officers or try to corrupt them with drug money to let them go on and on and who pays at the end is me and you when you drugs addicted daughter or my drugs addicted brother and his drugs addicted father or mother breaks into your house to steal it or thieves away you car to buy more drugs! He or she might become a thug themselves as a way out from continuous broke down as drugs take away any money they have!
Yes, this war on drugs looks like a weapon of generation 4 of wars cause like terrorism no one won this war so far and it is still going on and on creating more poverty more instability and more violence in the world,
The lords of Drugs in Latin America and Pakistan even in some places in Sinai still planting and trade is on not to forget the sky hi profits!
So from here I ask each and every Egyptian who loves Egypt and wants to cross over those difficult times Egypt faces in its war on Terror to make it another National Project like the New Suez Canal that in a couple of weeks will be inaugurated, to make another National Project from Egypt land of Pharaohs to become a Land FREE OF DRUGS!
It is a long long way and as difficult as our war of Terror but Egypt is as big when it come to its future may God keep blessing Egypt and peace of the lord be with all of you!
