The oldest monastery in the world celebrates the feast of St. Anthony

The monastery of the Great Saint Anthony in the Red Sea celebrated the feast of the founder of monasticism in the world Saint Anthony. The monastery of the Great Saint Anthony in the Red Sea celebrated the feast of the founder of monasticism in the world Saint Anthony. 

The celebration was headed by Bishop Justus, head of the monastery, Bishop Daniel, head of the monastery of St. Paula in the Red Sea, and Abba Daniel, Bishop of Sydney.
 
It’s worth mentioning that the Egyptian monastery is considered the oldest monastery in the world.
