Pope Francis donated for the displaced Christians in Erbil. He sent the money with bishop of Capri Francesco Kavi, who joined the project of the Catholic charity journey to Erbil.
Pope said that the mercy calls us to bow down before these brothers in order to drain their tears and heal their wounds.
It’s worth mentioning that the foundation has provided in 2014 more than 17.2 million US dollars to support the Christian refugees and displaced persons in Iraq.
