Parliamentarian Margaret Azer, a member of the Human Rights Committee of Parliament, said that she will finalize a new draft law to amend the punishment of adultery in Egypt’s Penal Code, Youm7 reported Tuesday.
She added that adultery punishment is tougher on women than men, although women and men should be equal to the crime.
