Head of Hurghada International Airport denied media reports on assigning the airport’s entire terminal two exclusively for Russian tourist flights.
“There were no talks on that issue,” head of Hurghada International Airport Sadiq al-Shura was quoted by Russia’s news agency RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
The media reports circulated following the Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov’s visit to Egypt for talks on resumption of direct flights between the two countries, which has been suspended following the Russian plane crash over Sinai that killed 224 passengers late October.
