Different TV presenters

I have written in several articles about the important role of media to influence and shape public opinion. However, Egyptian media is owned by a number of rich capitalists and some agents who receive foreign funds to implement certain agendas. Private televisions use media mercenaries to implement their agendas. Therefore, it became very hard to define TV presenters as many of them pretend to know the truth or claim they feel for the people.

Talk show programs appeared in a unique format in Egypt where you can find many TV presenters talking for hours though they have not even studied media in some college. Most of them are merchants, actors and ignorant people. However, they never allow their guests to talk much before they are interrupted.

One good example of those presenters is Ibrahim Isa, who supported the traitor Mohamed Baradie and headed his failure presidential election campaign. He flattered the candidate and announced he doesn’t need to be nominated as the Egyptians are in dire need for him.

He attacked the revolution of June 30 and therefore, his wife assumed a prominent place in a global organization that spread lies about Egypt called Freedom House. This enabled them to move from a modest apartment to a villa. He specialized in spreading false information and claiming the failure of all political and economic decisions and projects of the Egyptian regime.

He claimed to support the Copts in Egypt, but used them to implement his agenda as he previously supported the Muslim Brotherhood. Soon he announced he will not appear in media claiming that the government doesn’t allow him to appear. However, the state is speeding a lot of money to ensure his safety.
The Egyptian media is suffering by journalists who seek money and fame, but not the truth and stability of this nation. They know everything but how to protect their nation. I hope the new draft of media law will help them be more patriot and objective.
