Our service for the victims of modern persecution

After the Islamic terrorist groups attacked hundreds of churches and houses owned by Copts in Egypt after they looted them, they decided to attack Copts in Arish and force them to abandon their homes and lands to escape death fleeing from the intimidation and murder of identity. Therefore, we find it necessary that NGOs and the Church have to intensify their role in the immediate relief work.

Everybody realizes that the displaced people may face delay in the service for many reasons including chaos in many aspects of life in Egypt, but such chops should not reach the pastoral care service related to the salvation of their souls.
Today is very similar to the first ages of Christianity when our brothers suffered from kidnapping, looting, burning and martyrdom. Many people have been killed by those terrorists, and we should serve those who suffer by all means.

This is not only work of charities or NGOs, but it is related to our partnership in the holy body of Christ.

Do we really feel for our brothers and sisters who suffer by predator wolves? We should realize that they suffered because of their Christian faith. Their properties were seized and their churches were attacked. They are not tools in a disagreement or numbers to prove point of view, but rather people with dignity.

In fact, they have proved their faith and lived according to the holy gospel. Our brothers and sisters who experienced the meaning of forced displacement and to lose everything for their love to Jesus Christ. However, God shall prepare a better place for them and shall reward them in the other life. Yet, we should serve them and feed them in order to participate with them in their reward and blessings.
