Coptic Orthodox Church issued a statement today concerning the joint statement that was signed by Pope Francis and Pope Tawadros during the visit of Pope of the Vatican to Egypt and assured it did not include any additions of faith or belief.
It added that the mutual dialogue has started many years ago by Pope Shenouda III during his visit to the Vatican and that many achievements can be reached through joint prayers, cooperation and love.
