Turkey announced today that they will release the American priest after long time of battle with United States to release the priest.
In fact, this case of the American priest shows clearly how politics and economics are connected somehow very strongly. Turkey is suffering now from a big economic crises and its currency at the lowest level ever.
The United States imposed economic sanctions on Turkey which lead to a big drop on its economy and consequently, Turkey was struggling and seeking help from any one to save what s left from a collapsed economy.
One thing we notice here that Trump everyday approves his promise to his citizen when he says “America first”, at the same time, all countries try just to avoid any confrontation with him and by this way avoid any trouble it might happen.
In conclusion, we need to understand that if you want to be strong politically, you have to be strong economically first and then you can gain power.
