Zaid Haddad from Jordan won the chairmanship of the regional committee of the World Christian Union Committee during its annual meeting in Cairo.
The union consists of more than 20 organizations and movements from Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, The Sudan, Iraq and Palestine.
