A street is named after Pope Shenouda in Cleveland

 In conjunction with the Coptic Orthodox Church celebrating the 48th Anniversary of the late Pope Shenouda II, the street of St. Mark s Church in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, was named after Pope Shenouda III, following the approval of the competent authorities.

 
The celebration was attended by the mayor and a number of officials and doctors of Cleveland hospital and the congregation and clergy of the church.
 
For his part, Father Michael Edward said that Pope Shenouda founded the church of St. Mark in Cleveland, and visited this state for the first time in 1977 and the last visit was in 2012. He visited the city 32 times, and we made this request for the mayor and city council to name the church street as Pope Shenouda III, and we made the request and the mayor and city council unanimously approved. 
 
Pope Tawadros had haven a number of belongings of the late Pope Shenouda to the church to make a museum of these items and his beloved exiles could visit the museum.
