God uses a variety of methods to communicate his messages to all people. Those who are willing to listen receive the voice of God without Intimidation or belittling and interact with it. Others refuse to hear and reject the message because they do not understand the purpose of God.
Father Poulos William, priest of St. Mark Church of Heliopolis, told us in his article ‘He who has ears to hear, let him hear’ that God’s love for human beings is simply beyond description, so God does not want sinners to die without repenting. His messages aim to reach and reassure us, and call us to repentance or even give us warnings or messages of hope.
God uses nature to send us such messages like volcanoes, earthquakes, and hurricanes to alert us that the world will come to an end along with its lust. He may appear silent in tribulations to test the strength of our faith and our confidence in it. Sometimes God gives us blessings that we don’t deserve or prevent some blessings that we learn to adhere to Him, not to what he gives.
Indeed, not everyone accepts God’s messages seriously and joyfully, but the Lord says, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Some people may ignore the message, or accepts it for a short time before he returns to sin, and others give excuse to their sin. We pray to God that He grants us opened ears to hear His voice and put our trust in Him.
