Fatma... the first veiled anchor on the Egyptian TV

For the first time in the history of the Egyptian television, a veiled anchor called Fatma has appeared in thew news bulletin, and she was sitting next to the Christian anchor George Rashad.

This comes after Salah Abdel-Maksoud, Minister of Information, has decided to allow veiled anchors in the Egyptian television after they were not allowed before by the former regime
