Sources in the Egyptian Ministry of Supply said investigation showed that the former Minister of Supply, Bassem Auda, who belong to the Muslim Brotherhood, was involved in smuggling Egyptian subsidized foodstuffs to Palestine instead of giving them to the poor Egyptians.
It’s worth mentioning that however the Minister of Supply received all due shares, there was a huge shortage that affected the amounts given to the poor, which was proven to be smuggled to Gaza, under the supervision of the Minister.
