Catholic Church condemns Erdogan's remarks against Imam of Al-Azhar

Catholic Church in Egypt has issued a statement to condemn the recent remarks made by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan against the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar.

 

It added that the Grand Imam and the Al-Azhar symbolize Muslims and Christians of Egypt, as well as moderate Islam all over the world.
