Abba Paula, representative of the Coptic Orthodox church in the fifty-members committee to amend the 2012 constitution said he won’t accept further explanations for the Islamic Sharia in the new constitution.
He added that the church will withdraw if they insist to add explanations that contradicts equal citizenship for the Egyptians.
