Medhat Kelada, head of the European Union of Coptic Organization for Human Rights, said that killing and attacking the Copts all over Egypt every now and then proves the officials are satisfied by such bloodshed.
He added on his Facebook page: “Egypt has become a state no more. The weak are slain in the name of religion!”.
“Where is the tolerance they keep talking about when it comes to killing the Copts?” He wondered.
“Statement about loyalty and patriotism by Church leaders at the time the Coptic blood is shed is but nonsense. What kind of loyalty can be offered while one’s family is being slain and one’s house is being burned!” He added.
He said that the religious fascism and its supporters in Egypt have to be confronted.
