I had this discussion with a retired police officer who was talking about discrimination in Egypt based on religion. I said that writing the religion in the national ID card is a dangerous tool to define and target Coptic Christians in Egypt. The man defended the importance of this information on the national ID card assuring that this is very useful to decide where to bury dead people whose families are unknown, whether in Muslim or Christian tombs! Indeed, he was defending the right of the dead to be buried properly! Yet, he forgot that some living people among the Copts don’t have the right to live in their homes at all. This is true with several Copts whom are expelled from their homes for no reason excep
There is nothing more painful than feeling injustice in ones homeland. This is exactly what happened to the Coptic families in one of the villages of Beni Suef, which have been expelled after a customary meeting, as a result of charging one member of these family of publishing offensive pictures against the Islamic faith, as if that faith is so fragile and in bad need to protection and guards. There is so injustice to make the Copts fearing Kidnapping of their sons every single day expecting calls from kidnappers asking for ransoms in order to release their sons and daughters, or lose them forever. Salafis leader Yasser Brhamme gave a sermon in one lesson for nearly two hours which entitled "The worst thing of Christians is their faith".
I can’t believe what is happening now in Egypt, the ancient and antique state, Egypt Mother of the World and the source of civilizations and home of divine messages. What is happening now is persecution for the honorable Copts, whom are sons of Egypt. It is an incredible thing that’s not approved by the laws of celestial nor provided in humanity laws . What is happening now in Egypt to the honorable Copts from expelling, is not only a great crime in all ages and reigns, but also it is the maximum kind of terrorism at this age. We do not believe and do not want to believe what is happening even though we watched and heard in the Egyptian media the suffering which Egyptian Copts face.
President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt has taken a great humanitarian initiative by distributing 10 thousand heads of cattle to some poor and low-income Egyptian families in five governorates in Egypt, namely: Fayoum, Minya, Assiut, Sohag and Beni Suef. Those cattle heads were given to poor families from the Egyptian Presidency, in collaboration with the Egyptian Armed Forces, Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture, Egyptian fund of "Tahya Masr" which is under the direct supervision of the President Abdel Fattah el-Sis. The event was organized with the participation of the Grand Imam, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb,Sheikh of Al-Azhar mosque, Pope Tawadros, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark See, Hisham Ramez, Governor of the Central Bank, and under full control of the Central Agency for Accounting to ensur transparency and credibility in spending the money.
Yes Devils Brotherhood -formerly known as the Muslim Brotherhood- is still there not just in Egypt but all over the world! The nine Eleven 2000 event was an aspect of those Devils Brotherhood -DB for short- People like to overview facts or explain them their way or according to certain agendas but the fact is they do belong to DB!
Media starts to play a very danger role in politics. The media supposed to be like a candle to shed the light on the weaknesses of the different sides of the life. Playing politics role is not good for the media especially that Egyptian receive their information from the media not from reading or analysing. I believe that we need media charter to be able to adjust the media role in the politics life. Look to what happened between Dr. Al Ghazaly Harb and the journalist Ahmad Mousa. This case represents a very clear example to the bad role that Media play in the political life.
At thirtieth of June 2012, a spy who belonged to MB organization and sentenced to be executed and accused of several cases, the least of them could lead him to death penalty. Though all these facts, he could be bold enough to win Egypt's presidency and could take the authority and rule the country. The terrorist organization claimed that his victory and success based on fair elections, despite what happened from preventing Copts from voting in the small villages, which was proved after the election by recognition of the chief election commissioner at that time, and defrauding results in Amiriya printing presses, which supposed to be investigated tell now. Last June, after great popular demonstrations cannot be denied, Egyptian people could overthrow Morsi's rule and President Sisi arrived to take the authority according to Egyptians' will. This is the fact that some people intended to deny as they still thinking that Morsi is the real president for Egypt, but the fact is that Sisi became a president and succeeded by people’s will.
The appointment of counsel Ahmed El-Zend as a Minister of Justice, raised satisfaction for some people and anger for others in Egypt, those who have accepted him shown their satisfaction according to some reasons, including the man have decisive situations against Muslim Brotherhood terrorists . He was often threatened by this terrorist organization and faced an attempt to be killed by them, those who support him hopes that El-zend take decisions to carry out the executions judgements against MB criminals. While his opponents see that the minister El-Zend belongs to "Flool" , Mubarak regime supporters , also that he is against January 25 revolution , he is a friend to Salafis party , he was accused in corruption cases . and he had lost his mind once and siad that judges are the masters and the people are the slaves.
Black boxes have some magic and ability to disappoint by revealing masks of important people whom we used to believe and trust. Dr. Mustafa al-Feki, the former chairman of Foreign Relations Committee of the Shura Council, said that lots of people thought that Coptic Christians supported the Muslims Brotherhood at the beginning of their rule. He added that they didn’t mind as long as the MB was going to be moderate. However, the reason they failed was that they had no experience with politics or authority. The great diplomat is considered one of the most important people in most sectarian incidents and used to analyze and write books about the suffering of the Copts along history.
Dr. Khaled Montaser , a physician and journalist who writes articles for Al-Masry Al-Youm and other newspapers, talked about an important issue affected all Egyptians , in a public seminar that held days ago for seculars. He talked about the dangerous link of the holy religion that is fixed and the variable science, in another meaning the seriousness of what is called "scientific miracles in the religions" and that not only the religion of Islam, but in all religions. This caused massive attacks against him calling him infidel that should be killed.
I can not forget I’m in Egypt my love to Egypt and my wishes for a better tomorrow for Egypt. I wish I was an economist so I could use my expertise to suggest ways to improve Egyptian economy that was for many years facing aggressive theft and demolition that reached its top on 2011 and the two following years under complete control of the Devils Brotherhood DB for short formerly known as Muslim Brotherhood and Devils here points to its members not the Islamic Religion with all due respect to all Religions! In an agricultural country one of its best agricultural products was the Egyptian Cotton that farmers could sell locally and had to export it at any cost to survive, and as a result the best tissues factories in Mehala-Kobra could not find the necessary raw materials to keep up production this is a tragedy!
The last crisis of Alwafd party explains to us how is the political parties from inside. All political parties seek authority not seeking to introduce alternative to the citizen. Egyptian parties without exception doesn't have a real alternative to Egypt's problem.
I do not know who wants to put a veil on media like fanatics want to cover women in Egypt. Even the Prime Minister didn't know who was responsible for preventing the anchor Reem Maged from appearing in her talks show on ON TV private television. Indeed, somebody was able to prevent her from appearing on her channel, but failed to do the same with the German channel Deutsche Welle. This person forgot that we have all kind of technology that allows whoever wants to watch her to do so whenever and wherever he wants. Furthermore, this person failed to prevent several channels from attacking Egypt, but succeeded to prevent this anchor from appearing in her show.
In the last two days, many activists have discussed different points of views concerning the execution judgments which was issued by the Egyptian judiciary against leaders of the Muslims Brotherhood and supporters of other terrorist organizations. People divided into couple of teams: the first supports the judgements and the second condemns them. Strangely enough, defendants of those terrorists are the same people whom we used to consider among supporters of liberalism and the revolution.
When I think about the current events in our country since we got rid of the Muslim Brotherhood’s regime in Egypt, I move back and forth between optimism and pessimism about the future of our country. I feel optimistic while thinking about the future of the Egyptians who suffered for long from decreasing morals in the streets as well as losing human feelings within the community in general. However, people in Western societies enjoy more morals and human feelings even if they don’t have to assure them by religious belonging. President Sisi's efforts to develop Egypt makes me optimistic, but I lose such optimism when I find the majority of Egyptian people not willing to work hard in order to achieve better further
There are many crises announced by the Egyptian media in the previous period, such as pilots crisis in Egypt , okra crisis, donkey crisis, Lady of the airport, Abu Trika crisis, and dustman's son who can’t work as judges. I noticed that the Egyptian media is the only platform that presents such crises. This is not just an accident, but rather according to the scheme of conspirator of external intelligence that works against Egypt in order to create chaos and destruction.
Ex-president Sadat R.I.P last accomplishment before being assassinated in the middle of his own people while celebrating his best accomplishment the 6th October victory! I re-iterate Camp David was his last accomplishment that completely liberated Sinai and as well Gaza being recognised as an occupied territory more over couple of days ago it was the memorial of Palestine occupation!
Today is the day where we can finally see some justice in Egypt. Today is the day Mohamed Morsi was sentenced to death. What bothers me, is I saw a lot of people on social media condemning this sentence. Saying democracy and the revolution was all for nothing, and that this sentence is in fact the beginning of dark days for Egypt. I am actually quite offended when I hear statements like these. I can tolerate different opinions but to a point. I find myself de-friending people when it comes to this topic. I wish to take this opportunity to explain why. First, I would like to remind everyone of what exactly Morsi is behind bars for. He is charged with inciting violence. When is this ever an acceptable action? Especially come from the person who is supposedly leading the country? He is also charged with incitement for murder. Let's not forget that he is the one who is related to all those criminal charges for acts of terrorism. Above and beyond what he is charged for, have any of the ignorant people stopped to think about a critical aspect of his ouster?
It is assumed in any country that all people subject to one law and they all have the same duty . Moreover, all citizens are supposed to be equal before the law, but the status in Egypt is completely different and opposite to this. There are several states withing the Egyptian state including state of judges, state of Finance Ministry employees , the state of the economic institutions, organizations workers , the State of Telecom Egypt workers, and state of employees in banks. Each of these states have its own laws that are totally unrelated to the Egyptian state law or constitution. They all don't subject to the same system for salaries but each of these ministries and agencies has a different system of salaries and incentives and its method of appointment.
What Was said by the Minister of Justice that Dustman’s son cannot be a judge is exactly true. We know this, but still refuse the statement. Furthermore, we know that all sovereign jobs require certain conditions and are prohibited for certain people like Copts. The Minister of Justice statement only revealed some facts that we all know but reuse to acknowledge in public. We insist on deceiving ourselves.
There is no equality between the people in Egypt, but the constitution states exactly the opposite. Here, a judge may work according to his desires and not according to constitution and law. He or she may classify the people according to their families and not according to their work. It’s forbidden for the lower classes to reach the upper ones and dustman's son can’t look forward to being judges. In our countries, failure is guaranteed for most people, but success is not for all.
