Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, has been recently receiving increasing criticism and attacks from several people including his spiritual sons. Two weeks ago, a group of attendees of his weekly sermon started talking loudly at the beginning of the sermon. Arguments quickly broke out among attendees before the Pope cancelled the sermon. The protest has been based around restrictive personal status laws. On the next week, the pope surprised everybody by his decision to cancel the meeting for three years. Wednesday's weekly meeting at the cathedral was the last until 2018, Pope said. Of course, this was linked to the criticism he had received by some people of his congregation. This raised many questions as well as the anger of many Copts. They demanded the Pope to cancel this decision and deliver his weekly sermons as usual.

Before I start what I have to say, I’ll ask a vital question:- Is there a normal person that can LOVE his Father and HATE his Mother or vice versa Love his Mother and Hate his Father? Let me be more specific, I do not compare your Love to either parents I just asked if it was possible for a normal guy to love one and hate the other. Again I’m talking of normal regular parents, not a rude or careless father or mother! Well, if a normal person loves his parents, even if he had some bad memories with them but he tends out of love to forget and forgive those bad moments he had to face!

For years, Coptic Christians have been suffering discrimination based on religion in their own country. They faced several hardships each time they decide to build a new church. Such suffering is likely to last for years before they are able to build a new church and perform their prayers.

I do not allow anyone to discuss my intentions or manipulate them. Everybody should be free and responsible. Yet, in our country, such freedoms are granted by the constitution, and manipulated by anti-terrorism law. The government fear articles more than booms. In our country, there are rivers of blood that need justice, but can’t find them. Here, it is important that we shut our mouths and accept that anti-terrorism law. How does he who drafted such law think? I know that the upcoming parliament should be able to cancel that law. This is nonsense. In fact, I am lucky that this article was written before the law is passed, or else I should have been considered a unique terrorist who carry exploding articles.

After the fall of dictator Hosni Mubarak' regime, Egypt couldn’t confront the fundamentalist terrorist attacks. Countries in the Middle East have been suffering from real setback since the beginning of the Arab spring, simply because they need a real change, and not just a fake one. The problem is that peoples in the Muslim countries such as Iraq and Tunisia don’t have an idea or a complete theory about modern and democratic regime that enforce the law and protect the freedoms. Last Wednesday was a day of glory and pride for heroes of the Egyptian armed forces. Egyptians suffered after hearing the tragic news of killing the Egyptian Public Prosecutor. He was a decent and respectful man who was murdered by traitors and terrorists. Former British Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook, told the House of Commons that Al Qaeda was unquestionably a product of Western intelligence agencies. Mr. Cook explained that Al Qaeda, which literally means an abbreviation of “the database” in Arabic, was originally the computer database of the thousands of Islamist extremists, who were trained by the CIA and funded by the Saudis, in order to defeat the Russians in Afghanistan.

I am writing this article about the last year of the reign of Sisi in Egypt, I see him as a surgeon not just a president and he needs for a scalpel to carry out a lot of operations and to make them succeed and to amputate lots of obstacles and to correct corruption in the administrative system. However, It’s important to assess his performance in order to help him do his job. I am talking here about president al-Sisi and Copts during the first year of his ruling. It’s true that he visited the Great Cathedral during the holy Mass of Christmas, but he did not visit it in the Easter. May be it was just a courtesy for that Salafis who consider congratulating the Copts on Easter kind of infidelity. Yet, the Copts don’t accept such courtesy.

I offer my sincere condolences to all families and people of Tunisia, Kuwait and France in their victims who were killed by the brutal terrorism. Moreover, I pray for speedy recovery for the victims of such terrorist attacks. The terrorist attacks in Tunisia, Kuwait and France resulted in killing many innocent people and wounding others. Such attacks raise anger of many people against all sorts of terrorism. It is clear that dark forces in the Middle East are still working hard to weakening and controlling the Middle East and Arab countries

When Cancer was newly discovered many doctors thought of getting rid of it by simply cutting off the obvious sick part -let us say your finger- but soon enough they discovered cancer was still there spreading from your cut off finger to the other fingers and developing to include your whole hand! Cutting off your hand was still not the solution they did not get the message yet as cancer spread to you whole arm and they had to eliminate it as well but still your shoulder was damaged followed by your chest then heart putting an end to this patient’s life!

Last time we were trying to understand and analyze more if the developed countries are actually developed and we could find out that in the economic meaning they are developed but in social meaning they are completely not because of the discrimination they have in their society as well as they claim they defend human rights but only human rights in their countries.

On Friday, June 12th, one newspaper published a statement made by the novelist Joseph Qaeed who said that it's better for Egypt to postpone the parliamentary elections until the Egyptian people develop a sense of awareness and culture. I have many questions concerning the amnesty given by President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi to some prisoners, most of whom belong to the Muslim Brotherhood. Who made such list and why? Is it true that Saudi Arabia or Germany has interfered to impose reconciliation with the terrorist organization? Mr. President, Why did your amnesty not include names like Mounir El Masry, Youssef Shaaban and Mohamed Iraqi? the first and the second were arrested in the reign of the MB because they demonstrated against them and the last one was accused of trying to overthrow the regime of the Muslim Brotherhood. Therefore, they should have been released long time ago right after the MB regime was overthrown.

We extend our apologies to Your Holiness, Pope Tawadros, for what was said by some idiots of Coptic Christians that included verbal assaults and malicious writings against Your Holiness.
