I watched the interview of Governor of Alexandria with Mona El-Shazly which introduced a pretty unique Egyptian model of governors and men to me. Mr. Hani Meseiri belongs to a great family and proves he appreciates his wife unlike many men in our society. He also appreciates his work and does his best to make great results. He may have been mistaken to allow his wife to interfere in his work this way, and also mistaken to give excuse to such participation. However, he took the right decision to invite his opponents to build Alexandria together and achieve good results.
As I write this article, the third and final day of the economic conference hosted at Sharm El-Sheikh is on. I can not write and follow the latest news so my comments mostly are on my prior days’ observations. Fears turned to JOY Over the years for some unknown reason to me Friday the 13th means BAD LUCK, I recall a full series of movies long time ago by the same name “Friday the 13th” I saw them all over and over again on Halloween times TV would broadcast them over and over with other scary movies but Friday the 13th was the No. 1 always!
I saw a picture on Facebook the other day that was really quite hilarious. I had all the leaders of Egypt and put their picture there. When it came to the Morsi Era, there was a picture of a monkey with sunglasses. I find it exceptionally funny, because whoever depicted Morsi as a monkey, was spot on in terms of the contribution he made to our country. Why am I talking about a picture of Morsi? What's the significance. The world saw Morsi as an animal that had no serious positive impact on the economy, political system, society or any other means. He was a president that was in every way mocked for all the ridiculous things he said.
I had a discussion in one of the forums that discuss the conditions and circumstances of Egypt, in which different trends and groups come together. They were talking about the dog that was slain in Haram, Qaliobia. One of the attendees denounced the crime wishing to punish the criminals who tortured and killed the poor dog. He also explained that Islam strongly condemn such practices. I started my speech by a question: Can we forgive those young people for their crime in order to save their future? They started attacking my idea claiming that the Egyptian society denounce the crime and the criminals must pay for their crime.
There is a link between the opening of the Rafah crossing and the terrorist operations, which coincides with the opening of the borders. There were always big terrorist attacks every time after the open of the crossing. How do the rulers of Egypt think? How did they decide to open the crossing at the time our soldiers are being killed every now and then? Terrorism always comes from Gaza, but we suddenly decide to import some more through the borders.
In my articles, I try to point out to many diseases afflicting the homeland. The first crisis I want to talk about is the escape of 18 monkey from veterinary hospital in Nasr City! This comes after the great interest of TV talk shows about the killing of a dog. We may find several demonstrations demanding freedom for the monkeys. Moreover, several political symbols should belong to those monkeys as well. Once again, the tea kettle appears as main criminal in burning a huge hall of Conference Hall in Nasr City. It's completely nonsense to find an official accusing a tea kettle of burning huge hall like the Conference Hall in Nasr City. They have to say that it was make in Qatar or Turkey for better storyline.
Rules of the Supreme Constitutional Court and Administrative Justice keeps exposing sins of the Egyptian Constitution written by the fifty members committee. Now, we should doubt all settled articles of this constitution since the members were not constitutional experts. Thus, we should pay for such big mistake every now and then. The recent problem caused by this constitution is allowing the Egyptians with dual citizenship to be nominated in the parliamentary elections. It’s known that those who get the American citizenship should take the oath of allegiance to the US.
Not too sure if I should be happy or upset when the constitutional court decides that preventing citizens of dual nationality from their right to be candidates is unconstitutional! In fact I’m a dual nationality citizen and very loyal to both nations, thanks God they are not in a dispute of any kind because I really can not imagine taking the side of either against the other! But thanks God again I do not intend to become a parliamentarian neither become a candidate, in fact my experiences with politicians in any country I lived in it from France to Antigua, Britain or Greece, even USA –as a tourist who has a family there- it was very similar, promises upon elections never become reality when politicians won the elections!
I believe we are living in political hassle. We wake up everyday to find a new disaster that's not just bombs exploding, but also in a political meaning. The court last week declared that the election law is unconstitutional and 2 days after that incident, the court declared that the law that prevents expatriates from being a member in parliament is also unconstitutional.
In spite of the extreme grief over the martyrdom of the 21 Egyptian Copts in Libya, we are so happy for them. They were victims of both poverty and terrorism. They had only pain in their lives, but gain glory in heaven and on earth. They became glorious martyrs in our church and many churches should be built on their holy names. Now, we should remember them forever as great martyrs in our church who got the better life in heaven. Their poverty should be turned into riches, and their simple lives should teach many people all over the world. Even the Egyptian state, which has never avenged the murder of her citizens in smiler attacks, has sent fighters to avenge their murder in Libya. Their simple houses should be visited by millions of people who want to take their blessings.
People who talk about reconciliation with the terrorist organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood think they are more powerful than the state. Indeed, they are not since there are two regimes currently in Egyptian prisons. Moreover, the Egyptian people won’t accept to go back in time to the days before June 30, 2013. The fact is that the Muslim Brotherhood was proven a terrorist organization and reconciliation with them may be considered a victory in their eyes, and should encourage them to continue their terrorist attacks. Reconciliation invitations may lead to consider the leaders of the terrorist organization not guilty, even if they are. This should lead consequently to the recognition of what they claim as military coup, which should turn all facts upside down.
The Supreme Constitutional Court (SCC) ruled the Electoral Districts Law unconstitutional, resulting in the postponement of parliamentary elections until the questioned law is amended. The court refused other appeals on the law defining political rights issued ahead of the presidential elections last May, and the law organizing the establishment of the parliament. The Electoral Districts Law was issued by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi last December, and includes two sections. Each divides the country into electoral constituencies, according to the two voting systems available: the closed list and the individual list.
As we read the current activities and events in Egypt and the region, we can deduce there are great plans by president Abdul Fattah al-Sisi. It was such a great present by the Russian President Vladimir Putin who gave the Egyptian president a Kalashnikov as a sign of willing to cooperate with Egypt and hold military, strategic and political partnership. Such partnership was put into action after the visit of Egypt’s foreign minister to Russia and the visit of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Moscow hours later. Indeed, such partnership has annoyed the hateful American Administration.
Over the past few days I noticed a new wave of RUMOURS as rumours become more and more frequent and obvious lies that Egyptians become aware and make jokes round them! This new wave of rumours is based on a true well known event –a lawyer arrested in a demonstration without permit- well known fact! This lawyer thought his immunity as a lawyer gives him the right to be impolite and curse police officers and irritating them with his behaviours an officer –human being not God- responded to that violently and the lawyer dies! Human error requires investigation and accountability but what was published states:
President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi has given a nice speech last Sunday. Yet, I hope he will commit to his speech and don’t be late like he promised to appoint the new governors no later than the end of January, which was fulfilled in February. The speech showed what we know about the president who is well known for being calm and organized. His speech came to deny certain information that I knew they were not true. The speech was directed in a nice way that we are not used to with speeches of the president. He denied the leaks by gestures, when he should have talked about them clearly. Yet, his work in the intelligence agency made his character this way.
The Massacare that happened to the 21 Martyrs in Lybia assures us of the double standard of the West towards us. I vivadly recall when "ISIS" killed the american man. The US decided the very next day to go in a war against ISIS. The UN, and the West supported what the US had done, however, when Egypt did the same thing, the UN did not support them. Now, the UN and the US believe a political solution is necessary. The question is, why didn't they believe in using a political solution for Syria? The West might be developed in regards to their industry, but I believe that the West is still developing in morally. The West is lost on the compass of human rights. When 12 French men were killed in France after 3 terrorists attaked the newspaper during a meeting, the whole West came to France to announce their soldirity with them. I believe what they did was a good action, but the question is why hasn't the West called for the same action when the Coptics were killed?
Egyptian citizens should be proud for the Egyptian air strike against the terrorists in Libya. Egyptian pilots carried out suicide missions willing to sacrifice their lives for their country. Their air strikes were unlike other air strikes by American air force that provided ISIS with weapons instead of destroying them. This comes at the time the British army orders the soldiers to kill themselves before they fall in the hands of ISIS. I pray to God to save our great soldiers. Nobody can deny the great role of the commander Sedki Sobhi who leads the Egyptian armed forces at such critical moment. Even the United States hasn't moved to protect or even to avenge the death its
How can the parliamentary elections held under the current circumstances in Egypt? Some people support the postponement of the elections, while others think it’s a pure scandal to do so. Yet, we should think about what benefits our country Egypt after she was hardly rescued from the traitors who apply foreign agenda to destroy Egypt and the region.
Church of the Virgin in Awr mourned the martyrdom of her sons. It's congregation remembered that St. Mark came from Libya carrying the gospel and now Egypt has to present her children as martyrs in Libya. 21 sons of Abba Bfnotious, Bishop of Samalout, were killed in Libya to return the days of martyrdom and to revive their homeland and church by their blood.
In my last article published on Monday 16th February 2015 while writing it late Saturday early Sunday the 21 ISIS hostages were –surpassingly- still alive, but I had the feeling they were dead or will die not because I have ultra natural powers and I can see the future, but just from previous experiences with ISIS hostages from the American, then British, Jordan and Japanese hostages that were merciless executed while still negotiating their release; the worst was the Jordanian pilot that the King himself went to the States in an attempted to exchange him with convicted terrorists in Jordanian Jails, but he was burnt alive way ahead of those negotiations!
When you think about all the suffering that the Copts are going through right now, I can't help but remember the times of Jesus. Right now, we can't even imagine barbaric acts of killing. I look at the most recent tragedy, the beheading of the 21 Copts. I say to myself, "How could anybody in their right mind do such a terrible, unfathomable act?" And that's just it. These killers are not in their right mind. It has been said time after time how these people must be brainwashed. These criminals must not be right in the head.
