Yesterday all doctors held emergency assembly to express their anger from the police officer behaviour against them. I can’t blame Doctors to demonstrate and express their anger from such behaviours; however, I can’t accept also them to go in strikes. There are big difference between demonstrate and going in strikes. To demonstrate you will be able to express your anger and raise some signs can express your demands, at the same time after you demonstrate you will back to your work and see your patients.
Egyptian anchor Amr Adib showed images of Egyptian pupils in the fifties of the last century comparing them to recent images of other students. He was wondering: What is happening in Egypt! I can tell him. The revolution of July 1952 decided to impose the Arab identity of Egypt and incited hatred against Israel. Then, Israel burned the Egyptian airports, soldiers and armored vehicles. The 1952 revolution turned the Egyptian economy into a war economy that the Egyptian citizen is still paying for. Sadat and Mubarak sold Egypt to the Saudi regime and the Wahabbi ideology.
The Egyptian president is full of love for his homeland and people. His behaviors are close to idealism. The Egyptian president knows the problems of the nation and works hard to overcome them. He dreams of a powerful, developed and civilized Egypt. Many projects are being planned for by the president in order to raise standard of living of the people. He really believes in equal citizenship, and doesn’t differentiate between a Muslim and a Christian citizen. He declared the importance of building churches in new cities along with mosques.
The failure of Egyptian interior ministry led the president Abdul Fattah al-Sisi to launch an initiative that revealed weakness of the state. Such initiative to negotiate with a group that was named terrorist by the judiciary! Police can’t deal with the Ultras during the matches. I can’t believe our police is not able to even secure a football matches with audiences! Interior ministry insists on embarrassing the regime and makes it look bad. Consider the police statement about the dead Italian young man. It’s likely that his death was planned and even carried out by the interior ministry. They insist on ruining the regime!
Be careful if you’re willing to criticize ISIS since it became a crime in Minya where extremists sued four Coptic children under 15 in Beni Mazar village in Minya governorate in order to terrorize their families. The cause of action here is a 20 seconds video that was filmed as a joke after the slaughter of 21 Copts by ISIS in Libya.
I was not in vacation - how can a retired person be in vacation? - but after my short visit to my second home land Antigua I feel like if I was in vacation that ended before I realize, what a shame, but well that is life! After 2 weeks of missing my weekly article -not intentional but I might write about it sometime in the future- I feel like back in life, it has become like a habit with a difference; how come? Well at old times I remember -R.I.P.- my mother used in quite moments when she was free for herself and not to think or do household duties like cleaning, ironing, cooking or taking care of other duties she would go for her notebook; It was her diaries, writing down what had happened that day and her own thoughts of the events, almost all that was strictly personal and top secret no one had the right to read them, but as a nosy person I did, well it was after she died but still I breached her privacy and sorry for that!
After the death of the Italian young man in Egypt and found his body in Alex highway, there are many questions we need to ask about the security procedures that taken place in Egypt and who is responsible for all forced disappearance we read every day. I believe that all of these accidents are connected somehow, and what lead me to get this conclusion that all these accidents happens almost in the same way.
Real Christians understand that Christian unity should be the greatest testimony to the message of Christ who said that he wants his disciples to be one. All Christian denominations share the same Christ. Such unity is a great factor to make the people all over the world believe in the message of Christ and his atoning work on the cross. The lack of Christian unity hinders the love of God to his people. Unity is a heavenly gift that increases through thanks. Real love can be revealed among Christian denomination through such unity. Christ came from heaven to save us. His love became the new law. This is Christianity that we should know. All of us are one in Christ. Rituals and traditions are useful in case they are used to glorify God and not to divide Christ.
Sheikh of Al-Azhar belongs to ISIS and President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi belongs to the Salafis. Both of them adopt the same ideology in one way or another. They indeed adopted the Wahabbism and participated in the greater project to convert Egypt into an Islamic state. This was crystal clear when several thinkers and intellectuals were arrested including Islam Behiry and Fatima Naaot…etc. I’m sure there are other names waiting on the list like Dr. Sayyed Qimni and the journalist Ibrahim Issa.
He stands alone in front of the White House holding a sign that says “I participated in the revolution of January 25”. He knows how much this sign will affect those working in that house. Those who planned to use the revolution to bring certain people to power in Egypt led them to prisons and not to the presidential palace. Their failure became their friend and coworker in the prison. They must hate the people who overthrew them, I mean the Egyptian people.
I write today about what happened in January 25, 1951. On that day, several Egyptian police officers gathered in the city of Ismailia governorate administrative building, and decided to face seven thousand English soldiers who were armed with tanks, armored vehicles and guns. The Egyptians were less than 800 soldiers with old guns. Commander of British forces ordered them to surrender and to hand over their weapons and withdraw from the Canal Zone. He threatened to demolish the building on their heads like they had just blown up 156 houses in Kafr Ahmed Abdu in Suez in response to guerrilla operations. Junior officers agreed not to surrender and not to hand over their weapons for the English army. They decided to stand a chance until the final breath knowing they fight an unequal battle and they are most likely to die. The senior officers, Muslims and Christians, took the same decision and took an oath to fight till the end.
While I’m browsing Facebook, I read a story about a woman that went to Tahrir Square in the anniversary of the 25th revolution. She was demonstrating against Sisi and the interior ministry. When I read more I found out that this woman belongs to Muslims Brotherhood and she demonstrate against Sisi and interior ministry because her husband and her son died in “El-Nahda Square” after the army forced The ex-president Morsi to step Down after the demonstrations of June 30th 2013.
In my country, we hide and deny everything we think is bad for the country and disturbing for the people. We hate everything that disturbs the public peace. There is some kind of overseer to prevent some news and reject some laws, but when it comes to clean the country, other people has to toil to do the job. Yet, we don’t want to annoy anybody since we seek stability. Many crimes are committed in the name of stability. Former presidential election was forged to bring Morsy in power. Publication ban is used to hide the truth in several cases before the court.
After the Coptic Orthodox Church in Minya refused to pray for the bodies of a Coptic bride and groom who died of gas leakage in Minya governorate, northern Cairo, many people attacked the church accusing her of hatred for other Christians. I believe that there is no intercession for the dead by such prayers, but only offering condolences to the family of the dead person. The people accusing the church of hatred for this reason know that the church has rules and traditions. Those people are willing to incite against the church by all means.
The white coup by the Egyptian officers in 1952 came in coordination with Wahhabism religious leaders in the region to take control of the Middle East. The Saudi regime planned to topple all kings in the region starting with King Farouk who had the best army. They were planning that the Saudi king will rule all Arab countries. Those officers fell in the Saudi trap of cooperation with Muslim Brotherhood to overthrow the regime. It incited discord among the Egyptian people until the officers took over power as well as money of the rich people. The Parliament was then divided between workers and peasants without taking into consideration the qualifications of those representing the people and would affect the future of Egypt.
The Egyptian president was really worried when he knew about the kidnapped 20 Egyptians in Libya by the forces of evil that hates Egypt. He worked very hard and quietly with all state institutions in order to liberate them. It was great success to return them safe to Egypt. President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi sent an important message to the whole world saying that Egypt doesn’t neglect her children as was the case in the past. The message assured that Egypt works hard to save any Egyptian and anywhere. It became a matter of acts and not only slogans.
January 25th is just mere days away. Emotions are running high. I feel as though people are panicking for what fate awaits them in just a few days. I'm not sure if the air is tense with protestors brewing and ready to oust the current president, Sisi, or if the tension is coming from those who are anxious and desperately want peace in the land. Either way, the anxiety amongst all the people is almost palpable. It is as if there is some kind of force entering people's homes and creating this uneasiness all around. What I can say is, I hope that all that comes with the 25th is a memorial for all the lives that were lost, and a celebration for the new found steps made towards Egypt progressing in a positive way.
Egyptian media published the story of Dina Ovadia that Egypt revoked her citizenship because she joined the IDF. Egyptian media that accused her of causing shame to the Egyptian societies after joining the army of the Zionist entity just ignored the shame that led her out of Egypt. They didn’t realize that this provided a legal precedent for revoking citizenship for any Egyptian who joins the Army of a foreign country. This should change the plans of Saudi Arabia that has been seeking to recruit young Egyptians to fight Iran.
Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Minister of Local Development, said the government recognizes the negligence in engineering departments in the local councils. Notice that he didn’t talk about corruption in the local councils. He rather mentioned negligence than corruption. In fact, I believe that Dr. Badr should make a revolution in the local councils. However, we still see violating buildings that were visited by officials and they get electricity from the government. The biggest problem facing municipal councils is the garbage and how to get rid of it or recycle it.
