Any way this brief forced vacation was an opportunity to renew my views and hear other opinions one of them was an old old Egyptian Tradition that any problem Egypt faces is the Israeli-American plot! I fed up with this excuse that I always heard rather than solving that problem!

Egypt was knwon long time that it is one of the most countries produce sugar, however, the shortge in sugar supply lately shows the turndown happened in this industry. The main peoblem in this crisis from my view is that the government failed to even talk about this problem and explain the causes and the options to solve it.

The Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos won Nobel Prize for his role to end five decades of war in his country. Santos was awarded the prize "for his resolute efforts to bring the country's more than 50-year-long civil war to an end" He was able to hold a peace treaty that may lead to unite Colombia once again. He decided to follow his humanity rather than his previous thoughts. Santos is trying to convince his people and even his opponents, including the previous Colombian president to accept the peace treaty that should bless Colombia with a long period of peace.

The economic situation in Egypt is leading to deteriorating living conditions of the citizens The failure of the government is bringing a revolution of hunger even closer. The Egyptian citizens are suffering on daily basis from increasing prices, bad and expensive education, and health problems. The situation is far from stability and the future is dark. It looks like there is an intention to make the citizens suffer forever.

Every time the media announce that President Sisi will go to visit a certain place, I see all cleaning starting to be the best place in the world at that time. Having said that, without these visits none of these villages will improve or have the minimum service that any village should have, furthermore, we will see garbage everywhere and careless everywhere as long as there is no announcement that Mr. President will visit that place soon.

Several articles on the internet claim that Israel has won the war of October 1973, but the truth is that Israel had much more losses in the war that it can’t be called a victorious after all. One of the articles that claims Israel has won said that the use of intelligence massively benefited the Israelis, and that the Arab nations did not fight as one unit as their command structure was not unified and each fighting unit (in the Sinai and the Golan Heights) acted as individual units. It also claims that the Israelis had to work to one simple equation: if they lost, the state of Israel would cease to exist. As the president of the Commission on Human Rights in the Egyptian Parliament, I was aiming to apply human rights standards of the real sense. I had many clashes with the government that led me to resign of such presidency. I hope that such situation will change, and there will be real intentions to apply human rights in Egypt. Yet, I advise the next president of the commission on Human Rights in the Egyptian Parliament not to be fooled by slogans that the state insists on applying human rights as acknowledging a problem first is mandatory to solve it.

Its belonging to Egypt is sometimes considered before its faith. The Coptic church is known for belonging to the nation and willing to sacrifice for it. Belonging now means to care for the nation without supporting a certain party or ideology. When people fight a common enemy, the war becomes a national duty just like facing terrorism in all its forms. Many young people don’t realize the national role of the Coptic church. There are almost five generations do not know that the Coptic church experienced democratic struggle for long time

Lately the former NDB member Ahmad Ezz who was one of the reason that 25th revolution sparked, wrote an article calling for being optimistic for the future. I was curious to read his article to explore what he will say and why especially at this time.

The dream of immigration has always been a dream for young people in Egypt. This dream becomes more intense with the deteriorated economy and increasing prices. The migrants pay a huge price estimated at 50.000 LE in order to reach Europe, but the price sometimes is their lives. Last week, a boat carrying almost 600 people capsized off Egypt's coast, killing at least 204, in the latest disaster among migrants trying to reach Europe. I understand that those young people are despite enough to do so, but giving the possibility that one may lose his life as well as the nest egg may force him or her to search for alternatives.

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi returned home after his visit to New York. The church has taken the right decision to support the president, and paid the price for such support, which will be forgotten soon, just like they forgot about aunt Sauad, the Coptic lady that was stripped nude in the streets of Minya. In fact, this was not the first sectarian attack against the Copts and won’t be the last. The Copts are still suffering after they offered many sacrifices for their homeland hoping for better future, and a civil democratic state with a decent constitution.

The Egyptian media has failed several times to cover many events like the visit of the Egyptian president to Hillary Clinton. It only published the statement of the presidency. Egyptian media ignored statement of Hillary Clinton in which she called to release Aya Hijazi and respect freedoms in Egypt. Egyptian media thought that half of truth is more than enough. However, this is failure of our media since it didn’t report the full truth and ignores half of it.

The visit of President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi to America to speak in the UN caused many disputes, especially between the Copts in Egypt and abroad. The Muslim Brotherhood started to prepare for the visit by demonstrations and media campaigns in order to distort the reputation of Egypt and its president. They used rumors about poverty in Egypt, which was amazingly used and supported by few Coptic traitors like Mr. Magdy Khalil who claimed to defend the Coptic persecuted Christians by a demonstration in front of the white house. This is expected to be followed by statements to denounce the situation in Egypt and promises to intervene in order to protect the Copts as planned to divide the nation.

Last week’s article Egyptian Traditions Part V that was in fact a re-write of the overdue article Egyptian Traditions Part IV never published due to a system crash and lost the file, that is 2 to 3 weeks ago I saw the clear and present danger and was trying to warn Egyptians no to fall in to the generation 4 wars traps where; “You do what I want you to do!” without any forces or fights!

Most of the time we look at any crime only from one side. We always think that this person is crazy or bad by nature and at the same time we forget that the criminal person is a person like any other person except for the enviroment that he was living in. This intrdouction is important to understand what push the people to illegally try to immigrate to Italy. The crime is realted most of the time to the situation of the economy. I read a statement to one of the saved people that sank lateley and he was confirming that he will try million times to escape Egypt even he is going to die.

Egypt's participation this year in the United Nations General Assembly is different from the previous years since Egypt is currently a non-permanent member of the Security Council. Furthermore, President al-Sisi is president of the African Council for peace and Security. This means that Egypt is representing countries in Africa and the Middle East. This means we have to support the president in his mission. It’s known that the Coptic church has always been a national one. Thus, Pope Tawadros decided to support the president in his visit to the UN. This is not new to the Pope who called the Copts in America to support the president.
