When Pete Eckert started going blind, he decided to channel his feelings of loss into art. On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Egypt’s Health Ministry is set to launch a campaign this October dubbed El Saraya El Safra, aiming to raise awareness on the mental health services provided by the ministry throughout the country. “With the help of 18 hospitals, we are carrying out this awareness campaign to battle the stigma of mental health in Egypt.
