Many Coptic Christians in Egypt are thinking nowadays about emigrating out of Egypt. They are freaking out that they never consider the hardships that they may face including different people, languages and traditions in countries that they know nothing about the stability of its economy. This happens as the Copts see their country as failed state, and fanatics are prosecuting both: non-Muslims and moderate Muslims calling them “infidels”.

Three days ago Al-Ahram Magazine published the names and pictures of the ASSASSINS who killed in cold blood last August 16 of our solders, I recall upon the Israeli attack on Gaza several years ago and when Ex-president Mubarak ordered to shut down the borders with Gaza as Israel always pretended and claimed that Hamas get weapons and ammunition from Egypt, so Mubarak to cut off Israeli excuses and claims shut the borders what was the re-action of Hamas then? They did blow up a part of the border's Wall and killed a solder! 3 of leading officers of Hamas involved in this assassination and Hamas spokesman denies -for God sake when did an assassin who killed in cold blood confessed ?

There are many people still asking why Pope Benedict resigned. There are many possible answers such as age, health, corruption in the Vatican, or even the scandal of sexual harassment related to some of the priests in the Vatican. It could also have been the only way to amend current relations with the Muslim world. There are many different interpretations as to why, but the only thing that all people can agree on is that he left his position for the interest of Vatican, as he himself announced many times.

I don't know how some people are optimistic about the future of Egypt after what's happening to it. Egypt has lost its position as a prestigious state with a great influence in the Middle East that President Gamal Abdel Nasser has founded the Non-Aligned Movement in conjunction with Yugoslavia and India

Each religion has its own beliefs that we can't see or touch as they are really private, but we do touch the practices of the believers of that religion, as such practices determine how people deal with each other. Such practices are of two kinds: Either good enough to help the community or bad enough to destroy it. Egypt has both kinds of religious practices.

I'm really sad for what happens in Egypt, as I'm against all kinds of violence and attacking public and private properties, which are apparently financed and restored by the taxes we pay. I'm also against cutting railways that had its bad impact mostly on the simple people.

There is really no reason for such many crimes committed on daily basis by the current regime in Egypt. Egyptian people are murdered because they claim their rights and express themselves! In fact, president Mohammed Morsy is the one responsible for killing those innocent people who carry no weapon other than their voices. Those peaceful demonstrators are being killed by the Muslim Brotherhood and their supporters in Egypt. This apparently marks the end of their rule, which has become so near.

Glad to be back in Cairo Dr.Morsi and his allies are not going to make me stop loving Egypt or stop being Egyptian and caring of Egypt. I spent almost 72 hours in complete blindness of what is going on in Egypt as due to technical problems I could not switch between channels on TV using the remote and I had to get up to the TV for that purpose but as it was already by some unknown person set on the Egyptian International channel displaying a movie I decided to watch the movie while unpacking. Note the Internet service was cut off since I was not in the country I had to resume the service but I had to pay for it first!

I have disagreed with many people who said that the Egyptians are not yet ready for democracy. I thought that Egypt can repeat the experience of South Africa, but I was mistaken.

MB rule in Egypt is such a great loss, and continual distress as well as suffering. I have three thoughts about the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. First, about building churches: Abba Markos, bishop of Shubra al-Khaimah said, commenting on attacking St. Macarius Church by Salafis, that there are no churches built during Morsy's presidency.

All we hear nowadays is about participating or boycotting the controversial parliamentary elections. The Muslim Brotherhood’s vendetta to capture the entire country is now clear. It is also clear that they do not care about what’s in the country’s best interests.

In mid-1861, Saeed Pasha, the ruler of Egypt, issued a Sovereign Decree to all police chiefs replacing the penalty of beating with imprisonment. Accordingly, regulations were issued stating that since “penalties in the form of beatings of some criminals are intended to once and for all discipline those who commit crimes and sins, and serve as a deterrence to others, while keeping in mind effect without harm, we have decided to replace the penalty of beating with the penalty of imprisonment.”

Many people in Egypt call to boycott the upcoming parliamentary elections. However, the Muslim Brotherhood kept us busy denouncing holding the elections during certain Christian feasts. All of a sudden, the MB called for international monitoring for the elections, after they have refused it for years. Do you know what's happening?

It's said here in Egypt that the Egyptian children are of the smartest children all over the world, but not for so long. As he or she goes to school, he is turned into a device to save the information just to recall it in exams, as this is the only way to get high grades. It doesn't matter if they forget all information after the exams, and most probably they do!

The Egyptian revolution has came to demand justice and equality among all all Egyptians. However, what happens now aims to humiliate and displace the Coptic Christians. For no good reason, Coptic churches and properties are attacked in the same manner, and most probably by the same people. However, the state doesn't take an action, and all this could have changed if it had.

I've been always dreaming of applying democracy in Egypt, as I was never satisfied with the amount of democracy achieved after the revolution of 1952, and I believed that political parties could do something to develop the political scene against the ridiculous Nazi ideas of that time.
