The media center of the Coptic Orthodox Church announced the church has started the second phase of 1000 ministers training on the Holy Bible and Theology has started. Coptic Church issued a statement to denounce the terrorist attack against policemen in Wahat province. Egyptian Foreign Affairs praised the Fatwa Conference about the role of the Fatwa in the Stability of Communities assuring its contribution to counter terrorism. The conference will be held from October 17 to 19th in Cairo.

Abba Armia, member of the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church, announced the death of Mother Mary, head of Monastery of Sisters in Zewaila and Nubaria. He sent a message of condolences to nuns of the monastery and her family.

Patriarch Ibrahim Isaac Sidrak, the head of the Coptic Catholic Church, said during his visit to Rome, that the Christian community in Egypt is targeted among fears of increase of the attack against them. He said after recent Islamic extremist attacks on Christian institutions, the Egyptian government stepped up security efforts to protect the minority population, but such efforts are not helping with the continued hate speech against Christians.
