Isaac Ibrahim,‪ researcher for the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights,‬ said that kidnapping the Copts for ransom in Minya has became more of a phenomenon.He added that 10 Coptic Christians were kidnapped in one week for ransom. Yet, the police never try to help them.
