The Egyptian Association for Supporting Democratic Development (EASD) Condemns Alfarafrah Incident
The Egyptian Association for Supporting Democratic Development is expressing its deepest grief and sorrow for the terrorist attack resulting into 21 dead soldiers and the injury of 4 more from the Borders Guard Forces in Alfarafrah of New Valley Governorate. EASD stresses that the aforementioned aggressions and practices are crimes against humanity, violation of the right to living and crime against homeland.
 
In this regard, EASD condemns all forms of terrorist acts which are killing fellow nationals and destabilizing the homeland. Concurrently, EASD is demanding to provide support to the Armed Forces, Police and Borders Guard Forces by means of all deterring equipment and weapons in order to protect the homeland and themselves.
 
In addition, EASD is demanding an immediate investigation of such incidents, arrest of the perpetrators who should instantly stand for trials. Results of the investigations should be announced to the public opinion. 
 
EASD is sincerely expressing its condolences for our fellow citizens soldiers who are serving the homeland. However, we underscore that such incidents and terrorist acts, regardless of their consequences, shall not in any way affect the march of progress of the Egyptian nation and the continuation of the transitional period. Egypt shall never retract backward, but we are determinant on building the State of law, democracy, freedom and State institutions.
