In his interview with Copts United TV, Father Basilious of St. Maqar said that he knew Father Matthew the poor who lived as the early church fathers, and was educated by reading their theology and Christian thought.
He added that he wrote many books to teach the people how to believe in God like “Life of Prayers” and “The Wide Boarders”. Many people read his books and some atheists have known God through his books. Matthew the poor is the greatest father in the modern history of our church.
He added that it’s not acceptable that Coptic book exhibition removes any part of his books, and he would never accept that.
