Rio De Janeiro, Brazil (CNN) -- Authorities continued their investigation early Sunday after a flight with more than 400 onboard made an emergency landing in Brazil following a bomb threat.
Air France Flight 443 departed from Rio de Janeiro, a spokeswoman for a company that runs Brazilian airports said. The flight was headed to Paris, France.
Authorities were still investigating the flight at the airport in Recife, Brazil, early Sunday morning, Infraero spokeswoman Solange Argenta said.
The airline will pay for the 405 passengers and 18 crew members to stay in a hotel overnight while the inspection continues, she said.
Passengers got off the plane immediately after it landed, Infraero said in a statement, and investigators re-inspected all passengers, their carry-on bags and checked luggage.
The flight took off from Rio de Janeiro at 4:18 p.m. Saturday (3:18 p.m. ET) and landed in Recife at 7:58 p.m. (6:58 p.m. ET), according to Air France's website.
The bomb threat comes more than a year after another Air France flight traveling the same route crashed in the Atlantic Ocean, killing 228 people.
In May, France's air investigation agency announced the end of the third phase of its investigation into the crash without citing a specific cause.
