The elevator of the Egyptian-Russian Friendship Monument situated near the Aswan High Dam fell, injuring four people, Youm7 reported Saturday.The elevator fell 30 meters, and the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals.
The 72-meter tall lotus-shaped monument, was erected in recognition to the Soviet Union’s contribution in building the High Dam in Aswan in the 1970s, through thousands of Russian specialists.
