Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Tuesday threatened to strike Hezbollah with an "iron fist" if the Lebanese group launches an attack against its southern neighbor.
The remarks came during a ceremony to mark the 10-year anniversary of the 2006 Lebanon-Israel war, according to The Associated Press.
The 34-day war killed around 1,200 people in Lebanon, mostly civilians, and 160 Israelis, mostly soldiers.
Earlier this month an Israeli official said Hezbollah had 120,000 missiles in its arsenal aimed at Israel, seven times the number 10 years ago.
Hezbollah has also warned that its capabilities have drastically advanced and its intelligence on Israel has grown significantly since 2006, saying it can strike any site in Israel.
