Maronite Patriarch Mar Beshara Boutros al-Rai Thursday visited the northeastern border town of Al-Qaa, which was rocked by a number of attacks last month.
Upon his arrival, Rai was welcomed by a number of political, religious and local officials from the town and the Bekaa region.
His visit comes weeks after eight suicide bombers killed five people in the mainly Christian village, located only a few kilometers away from the Syrian border.
