Lebanon’s General Security arrested two Palestinian nationals for their alleged links to militant groups, a statement by the security agency said Thursday.
The statement said Palestinian refugees Kh.M. and S.A. had confessed to belonging to a “terrorist group,” and were in contact with Palestinian fugitive Aa.M. who had assigned them with monitoring an unspecified location in Lebanon to later carry out an attack.
They were referred to judicial authorities for further investigation, while other individuals with ties to them are being pursued.
