Ahly beef up attack by securing Nigeria Olympic team star Ajayi
Ahly have signed a four-year-contract with Nigerian starlet Junior Ajayi from Tunisian side CS Sfaxien, Al-Ahram Sports reported on Friday.

The Cairo giants concluded the deal with the Tunisian side to get the services of the Nigerian star, who is currently participating in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, for $2 million.

Ajayi was selected by Nigeria for their 18-man squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics after helping them qualify for Rio with his decisive goals.

Having sent Gabon striker Malick Evouna to China's Tianjin Teda in return for a hefty $8 million price tag just a few days ago, Ahly were understood to be on the lookout for a top-notch foreign replacement.

The 20-year-old Ajayi is expected to beef up Ahly's attacking department following the departure of Evouna, who bagged 12 league goals in his side's triumphant campaign last season.

The Nigerian starlet will make his depute with Ahly after finishing participation with his national Olympic team in Brazil.
