Egypt’s national team will host Ghana in the second round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers on 13 November at Alexandria's Borg El-Arab Stadium, the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced on Wednesday.
The Pharaohs launched their preparations for the qualifiers by tying with Guinea 1-1 in a friendly in Alexandria last week, before losing 1-0 to South Africa in Soweto on Tuesday.
Also on Tuesday, the Black stars lost 1-0 to Russia amid preparations for the qualifiers.
In late June, World Cup-hungry Egypt were drawn in a tight group for the qualifiers' final round alongside Ghana, Congo and Uganda.
