CAIRO - President Hosni Mubarak Saturday issued a Republican Decree appointing ten MPs to the newly elected Parliament, including seven Copts.
The appointees included only woman, Amina Shafiq who is also a member of the State-backed National Council for Women (NCW).
The MPs, who will meet Monday for the maiden session of the legislature will be 514. Four seats from the 518-member House are suspended.
