Handball: Egypt's Ahly win African Champions League

 Egyptian giants Ahly won the African Champions League after defeating Tunisia’s Esperance de Tunis 26-23 in the final on Sunday.

 
Ahly had the upper hand in the first half, going to the locker room with a 15-13 lead, before maintaining their advantage in the second half to clinch the title.
 
Defending champions Zamalek finished third after defeating Wydad Samara of Morocco 30-24 in the third-place playoff.  
 
Ahly will face Zamalek, champions of the African Cup of Cup winners, in the African Super Cup. The winning team that will represent the continent in the Super Globe.
