Ahly coach praises Nigerian Ajayi after Egyptian league win

Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry believes Nigerian forward Junior Ajayi is starting to gel into the team after putting the team on their way to a 2-0 win over El-Entag El-Harby in the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday.

Two second-half goals from Ajayi, who joined in the summer from Tunisia's Sfaxien, and Egypt playmaker Abdallah El-Said gave Ahly their seventh win in nine games in their bid to defend their league title.

"Ajayi is rapidly developing. This was obvious in the past few games and he is now fully fit," El-Badry said after the game.

"All of the new signings will have a chance to participate in the coming few games."
El-Badry was also satisfied with the display of his team after they cruised to an easy win over struggling Entag.

"We prepared well for the game and we managed to dominate it," he told the post-game newsconference.
The Red Devils are on top with 23 points, two ahead of second-placed Maqassa who played a game less. Entag, meanwhile, remain in 13th place on six points.
