Preview: Zamalek eye return to victory against Petrojet
Zamalek will be hoping for a return to victory when they face stiff rivals Petrojet in the Egyptian Premiere League on Tuesday.

The Whites were held to a disappointing scoreless draw, their fourth of the season, against second-from-bottom side Aswan in the last league match on Thursday. The team was heavily criticised by fans for the result and their performance after the game.

Zamalek lie sixth in the league table with 22 points, 13 behind leaders and arch-rivals Ahly who have played 14 matches to Zamalek's 10.

Petrojet, who lost 2-1 to Masry in the last league match, are fifth on 24 points. The team have proven to be tough opponents, losing only twice in 14 matches this season. They will be battling for their first victory since beating Sharqeya 1-0 on 21 November.

Beating Petrojet would be a boost for Zamalek who are still struggling to hit top gear this season.

The White Knights have paid the price of too many coaching changes, with Mohamed Helmi the third manager to take charge of the team after only 10 games this season.

Aswan's draw was the first for Helmi as Zamalek's new coach, after an opening win crushing Dakhleya 3-0 last week.

Helmi has asked for full concentration from his players in Tuesday's match, stressing that losing more matches in the coming period will not be acceptable.

On the other side, veteran coach Talaat Youssef will be sticking to his defensive strategy to neutralise Zamalek's threat throughout the match.

On Tuesday, Zamalek will be missing key defensive midfielder Mahmoud Abdel-Aati 'Dunga' for tactical reasons, with full back Hosni Fathi out due to injury.
