Ahly coach El-Badry slams Ivorian striker Coulibaly as unprofessional

Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry said on Sunday that the reason Ivorian striker Souleymane Coulibalys left the team is that the player is unprofessional and failed to play under pressure due to the games sequence.

Ahly always play under pressure, as we always have to win the game, but Coulibaly could not bear playing under pressure and decided to escape, the Ahly coach said.

Ahly has lodged a complaint with FIFA against Coulibaly after he missed training session two weeks ago without permission. Coulibaly said he had flown to London for private reasons, according to football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz.

The 22-year-old later said he sought to terminate his contract with Ahly, a request that was rejected by the Cairo giants.

El-Badry says that Ahly have had foreign players in his squad, including the current players Tunisian winger Ali Maaloul and Nigerian striker Junior Ajayi, all of whom have met the fans hopes and have had a superb relationship with the teams management and the team.

Ajayi and Maaloul work in a professional way, unlike Coulibaly

There is a big difference between Ajayi, Maaloul and the Ivorian striker, the Ahly tactician said.

The Cairo giants, who recently won the Egyptian Premier League title, are competing in the two domestic competitions Premier League and Egypt Cup, and are participating in the CAF Champions League and the Arab tournament.

Ahly snatched the lead of their Group D in the CAF Champions League with seven points when Moemen Zakareya and Nigerian striker Junior Ajayi scored, giving the Reds a 2-0 home victory over rivals Wydad Casablanca at Alexandrias Borg El-Arab Stadium on Sunday.
