Ahly, Wydad coaches show fighting spirit ahead of African final

Both Ahly and Wydad Casablanca s coaches are determined to win the second leg of the African Champions League final on Saturday in Morocco.

"Ahly will fight away against Wydad. There is no option but to win the ninth African Champions League trophy," coach Hossam El-Badry told the club s official website on Thursday.

The Egyptian giants, who failed to benefit from the home advantage and held to a 1-1 draw last weekend, need to score away at Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca to lift their favourite trophy for the first time since 2013.

"The match will be very tough, but I trust the team s abilities to clinch the qualifying ticket for the Club World Cup championship," the 56-year-old tactician added.

In the Moroccan camp, coach Hussein Amotta spoke with confidence about his side s hunger for a win.

"I trust my players  abilities to clinch the club s second trophy. We need this title," he stressed.

Both teams are showing high morale, as both have been boosted by strong fan attendance and support at their trainings this week.
