Egypt coach Hector Cuper said on Wednesday that he has no doubt Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has the quality to play for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
"Salah is a very good player who has the ability to play for Real Madrid without doubt," Spanish magazine Marca quoted Cuper as saying during the Dubai Globe Soccer Award on Wednesday.
La Liga holders Real Madrid are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of Salah following his explosive start with Liverpool.
The 25-year-old took the Premier League by storm after joining the Reds from Serie A side Roma last summer, scoring 15 goals in 20 appearances so far.
He also helped Liverpool reach the Champions League round of 16 with five goals in six games.
Real boss Zinedine Zidane heaped praise on Salah when asked about reports that linked the Liverpool ace with his side earlier this month.
"He is a great player; he has shown that in Rome and now in Liverpool," said the French footballing legend.
"He grows and gets better. He is young and can give even more to football. He is a player that I appreciate a lot."
