After suffering a 0-1 defeat at Burkina Faso the Gabon champions have hit back scoring two goals at the d Angondjé stadium, winning 2-1 on aggregate.
Home grown defender Allen Nono scored first for the home side to level the game on aggregate, and in the second half it was the club s hitman Abdou Atchabao who gave Mounana the goal that helped that march out of their stadium triumphal.
Now Mounana are up against Egypt s reigning champions Al Ahly in the round of 32, the team from Gabon will come to face Al Ahly on March 6 at the Cairo International stadium.
