Mother of “Mary Halim” the kidnapped girl has told ”Coptic United" that her daughter used to attend church services, and partake of the communion. She stressed that the whole family will continue the hunger strike until the girl is back, mentioning that she has a heart disease, however she takes the medicine no more, putting the responsibility for her life and her family’s on the officials.
Furthermore; Mary’s sister said: "My sister was a friend of mine and we used to tell each other about everything". She stressed that her sister never thought about converting to Islam; confirming that she was kidnapped in front of her eyes by “Ashraf Al Deshnawy”. "Remon", Mary’s brother, stressed that he will continue to strike until his sister returns, saying: "Either "Mary" returns, or else we die”. Mr. “Halim", the girl's father assured that she was kidnapped to avenge him, stressing that she was kidnapped and has not converted to Islam. He explained that the video that appeared on the Internet has been recorded under pressure by beating her.
