The ‘Ana Asaf ya Rayas’ (We are sorry Mr President) Facebook pagehas launched an electronic book that detailed the achievements of ousted president Hosni Mubarak.
The163-page book, Egypt, Mubarak, the Achievements of 25 years sets out to detail the former president's accomplishments in various sectors in the country, including the housing, industrial, petrol and electricity.
The introduction to the book praises Mubarak for his many achievements.
"President Mubarak led a great Egyptian epic with unprecedented accomplishments during a period of great work which he competently led," the book begins. "During that time he established stability and security and pushed the country forward.'
‘We are sorry Mr President’ is one of the most controversial and outspoken Pro-Mubarak groups on Facebook, and was set up following his ousting in February 2011.
Mubarak is facing trial on corruption charges as well as criminal charges in the murder of hundreds of protesters during the January 2011 uprising that ended his 30-year tenure as Egypt's ruler.
The court is expected to return a verdict on 2 June 2012.
