Naguib Gebrael, head of the Egyptian Federation for Human Rights has formed a team from the federation to contact authorities in Saudi Arabia and also meet with the Saudi ambassador in Cairo and human rights organizations to help solving the crisis of the Egyptian citizen Mohammed al-Gizawy who traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform minor hajj and was arrested for charges of abusing the king.
It is worth mentioning that the Egyptian Federation for Human Rights has worked hard two years ago to release two Egyptian doctors who were sentenced to whip 1500 times in Saudi Arabia, and we succeeded in getting them released.
