During a press conference today, judge Farouk Sultan, head of the Supreme Committee for the presidential elections said the committee will report the Public Prosecution for any fake document they received.
Sultan added that checking the results will be held in the sub-committees, and a statement will be delivered to each candidate’s delegate. Foreign organizations that have the right to follow-up the elections are only the licensed ones according to the law.
Sultan said that the accusation by Khairat al-Shater that there is a relationship between the Supreme Council of Armed Forces and the committee is not true at all.
He also added that they the committee has nothing to do with the constitution, and they will keep going in the elections unless they’re told stop working by the authorities.
